Cookies & trackers

Technical cookies only

In its current configuration, this website uses no advertising cookies, social network trackers or audience measurement tools. No “Accept all” button is needed for mechanisms strictly necessary to provide the requested service.

Technical mechanisms in use
Mechanism	Purpose	Duration
Joomla session cookie, with a variable technical name	Associates requests with a session, checks form tokens and temporarily retains entered information if an error occurs.	Session cookie; server session expires after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Local POWCaptcha / ALTCHA CAPTCHA	Anti-bot verification and prevention of response reuse. The challenge and its validation are linked to the session; no remote CAPTCHA provider is contacted.	Challenge valid for 10 minutes, one validation only; other data follows the session lifetime.

Language preference cookie

The etoiles_language cookie remembers your language for 30 days only if you enable this option in “Manage cookies”. You can still change language during your visit without this option. This cookie is not used for advertising tracking.

Your choices

The etoiles_cookie_preferences cookie stores your choice for 180 days, whether you enable or decline language storage. You can change your choice at any time using “Manage cookies” in the footer. Turning language storage off deletes the language cookie. Necessary session and security cookies remain active.

If optional tools are added later, they must remain disabled until you have made your choice. Accepting and refusing must be equally easy, and withdrawing consent must remain accessible.
